Becky's Banashankari is a beautiful, two-storied, colonial bungalow converted into a dog boarding home. Room entryways are arched, and segregated by 4ft tall picket fences to keep dogs from jumping over (they still try though!).
Dogs are split up into rooms based on their size, temperament, and levels of socialisation. The rooms are clean and airy enough to accommodate multiple dogs. Each pack of dogs is monitored by an experienced caretaker. Additionally, CCTV cameras have been installed for 24x7 supervision. Parents are updated daily through photos and videos of their dogs on WhatsApp.
One feature at Becky’s that is bound to pique your dog’s interest is the outdoor turfed lawn, which is used for free play, activities, games and agility exercises. Dogs are allowed supervised playtime three times a day. Outdoor activities keep the dogs mentally and physically engaged, in turn helping them settle more peacefully indoors. They also have a swimming pool for your water-loving dog to remain active and beat the heat, in one shot!
While the dog boarding setup is completely kennel-free, they do have a few crates that are reserved for emergencies or if dogs become uncomfortable in their designated pack.
They have two centres in Bangalore- in Banashankari and in Hosa Road. Please note that this is our review of their Banashankari branch.
Meals
Dogs are provided with 2-3 meals per day, depending on their size/breed. Parents have the option of choosing between boiled chicken & rice, boiled veggies & rice, and curd rice. Meals can be customised keeping in mind your dog’s needs, allergies, food sensitivities and intolerances. Furthermore, parents can opt to send in meals to be fed to their dogs.
